How it works
From plans received to bid-ready, in four steps.
Fee and delivery date are agreed before any work begins.
- 1
Send your plans
Upload drawings, specs, and addenda. Add the trades, bid date, and details like prevailing wage or a house spreadsheet.
- 2
Get a free quote
An estimator looks over the set and emails a fee and delivery date. You decide from there.
- 3
We measure and price
Quantities are taken sheet by sheet and sorted by CSI division, then priced to the scope you ordered.
- 4
Review and delivery
After a final check against the drawings, you receive the bid sheet, marked-up PDFs, and RFI log before your deadline.
Inside every estimate
Every project follows this sequence. A quantity takeoff ends at step 2, and a bid estimate runs through all eight.
Document review
Architectural, structural, and MEP sheets, read with the specs
Step 1Quantity takeoff
Measured areas, volumes, lengths, and counts
Step 2Unit costs
Material pricing adjusted for the project location
Step 3Labor
Crew hours at the wage basis the job requires
Step 4Equipment
Owned and rented machinery and tools
Step 5Overhead
Indirect costs like office, utilities, and admin
Step 6Profit
Your markup, often somewhere from 10% to 20%
Step 7Quality check
Totals reconciled against the drawings before delivery
Step 8
